-A 15" version
-with larger battery capacity (5 hours heavy usage instead of 3)
-2 USB 3.0 ports
-and a built in 4G internet connection.
Then the MBA would be unbeatable.

will this be available in coach or is this just a first class option?
Hopefully it will be available in all classes. It doesn't seem like Steve Jobs to settle for anything less - He's all about the average consumer.

It's sad though, many people still hate macs. People who have not used one since the old OS 8 / OS 9 days. The 'only one-mouse button / expensive / can't run any programs' image still tarnishes apple. It might take another couple of years for that to wear off from people. At least.

Plus, I paid for Jaguar (well, the computer it came on), I paid for Panther, I paid for Tiger and I'll 100% certainly be paying for Leopard when it comes out. I want to play with the new features every so often, and get myself all excited about what's to come. How exactly am I hurting Apple? They'd be fools to drive away a long time and dedicated customer by throwing legal issues at me.

Space kind of implies that you mean storage space/capacity, memory is what you're talking about.
Still, some processes will just relaunch when you kill them. I doesn't mean that you can have more processes running, it will just quit the ones that are active so you start other processes.

If you ask me, it's pretty clear Apple will update all of its laptops before the holiday season. I personally can't wait to buy a new MB, because my 600 MHz G3 iMac is getting a bit sluggish. My question is this: Will it be a simple CPU upgrade, or will Apple change pricing and/or other hardware (such as HD capacity, RAM, etc.)? Oh, and how long do I have to wait?
They're switching from ASUS to Foxconn so hopefully you'll get a Macbook that doesn't turn off Randomly in the middle of important work.

it's a bit cliche that song now. but i do love rage against the machine. that whole album is a work of art. one of the few albums I can listen to all the way through without skipping a track...
OT, i hope the band get together for a whole album again. be interesting to see how different the music would sound now these days. i dont think tom & the rest of the band have developed much (audioslave) but zac's work (what little he has done) since rage has been interesting...

And I thought that Target was better than Walmart. That's a sign that these companies have too much power. They want to protect their monopolistic power over DVD sales. Its ludicrous that Target and Walmart should be able to coerce the movie studios and Apple in such a way.

People are throwing around "Unix" and "Windows" like they used to throw around "RISC" and "CISC". There is no reason of which I am aware why a future version of Windows cannot scale to as many processors as any version of Unix, just like the nasty ol x86 ISA has yielded top-notch processors like the P4 and Athlon.
I think that everyone here who argues otherwise is engaged in a desperate attempt to justify their worldview that equates Apple with perfection and wisdom, or perhaps equates Microsoft with evil and boundless stupidity.

I'm holding off on the ipad. I really like it and I'm not waiting for some future specs. I just am not sure I have enough need for it to spend that kind of cash. I have a three year old laptop and I think I'd rather save a little more money and get a new laptop than add an ipad to my collection. And I think the needs of an ipad are not that great for me right now.
I think if I were to buy one it would be as a gift for my parents. You know these are ideal for people in the family who do not really need a full computer but you'd like to have the ability to interact with on-line. You can set it up with your own computer and occasionally update it for them. It looks to be a lot less of a headache to manage for someone who is not tech savvy than a full computer.
